Often times a great idea is quickly followed by a domain name search to secure of a place to share that idea. Sometimes I’ve stumbled across a domain name that has potential to be a good idea. ORArts.com was initially going to be an arts site for the state of Oregon, the idea was it would showcase Oregon artists and sell art. That idea later expanded as to not be limited by just Oregon. So the name “Original Arts” made more sense.
The domain sat for years going pretty much unused. Recently I had this idea to take all my doodles, drawings, art and put it on a print on demand shop that would also do fulfillment. I thought, well, maybe I’ll set it up on this site. I expanded the idea to include cool or fun images that are in the public domain and free use. There are online collections that literally have millions of images that are free to use. So my thinking is why not find tons and tons of images and add as many interesting ones to some products and see what happens.
